THE INFLUECE OF INTRINSIC MOTIVATION AND WORK-DICIPLINE TOWARD EDUCATION DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEES’ PERFORMANCE

The employees’ work performance of Education Department of Indramayu Regency is considered low that this research aims to study the influence of the employees’ intrinsic motivation and work-discipline toward their performance at work. Applying explanatory survey method, this research involves 55 employees of the Education Department. The data were collected from a rating scale model questionnaire. The data was then analyzed by simple regression analysis and fold regression analysis. The analysis shows that the employees’ intrinsic motivation level and work-discipline level are high. Likewise, their performance at work is high. It is concluded that there is a partial and simultaneous correlation between the employees’ intrinsic motivation and discipline toward their performance at work
